Interdisciplinary centers

Modern neuroscience relies on technological developments that allow us to explore or manipulate neural activity, from the molecular scale to large brain networks. It is also increasingly essential to model neural computations and simulate the functioning of small and large neural networks. These two activities, exploring and modeling, involve interdisciplinary interactions with physics (photonics, electronics), applied mathematics and computer science. To organize these interdisciplinary interactions within the Institute as well as with our partners, the INT created two Interdisciplinary Centers in 2021: the NeuroTechCenter (for neurotechnologies) and CoNeCT (for theoretical neuroscience).
