Bio Markers at INT / Neuro-Bio-Tools

Protein and genomic biomarkers

BioMINT offers research into protein or genomic biomarkers in neuroscience for diagnosis and clinical or pre-clinical pathological monitoring). It has a secure environment (L2) for receiving and processing human samples and equipment allow highly reproducible immunoassays and quantification.

BioMINT is part of the the Neuro-Bio-Tools (NBT) platform which is unique from other neurobiology and molecular biology technical platforms in that it comprises four technology areas: Neuro-Vir (design and production of viral vectors for rodents and non-human primates), Connecto-Vir (design and implementation of neuroanatomy projects using viral vectors), BioMINT (identification of biomarkers for diagnosis and clinical or pre-clinical pathological monitoring) and GeneXprINT (analysis of gene expression in neuroscience)

Ella is A Benchtop Automated ELISA Platform .In less than 90 minutes, it provides highly reproducible validated assay data and consistent biomarker detection with no manual steps. With Ella, single Plex assays quantify up to 16, 32, or 72 samples in triplicate, multianalyte assays allow to quantify 2, 3, or 4 target analytes in parallel in triplicate, multiplex assays allow to quantify 5, 6, 7, or 8 analytes in duplicate.. Simplex and multiplex assays are available for human samples and also mouse and rat targets using only 2.5 to 25µl.

Jess automates the protein separation and immunodetection of traditional Western blotting, eliminating many of the tedious, error-prone steps. It allows high sensitivity multiplexing (chemiluminescent and fluorescent detection channels and RePlexing capabilities) and provides results in 3 to 5 hours. Jess gets down to picogram-level sensitivity with just 3 µL of starting material and offers 13 or 25 sample capillary cartridges

NBT also has an environment dedicated to molecular biology, enabling the analysis of genomic biomarkers (DNA, RNA) using quantitative PCR. From blood simple pre-processing to gene expression analysis including total RNA or DNA extraction.
