Neurotech seminar
Friday June 9 at 12:00-14:00, at INT Salle Vinay, 1st floor
Dr Gael BARTHET (Director of Neuroscience – Wyss Center for Bio and Neuro Engineering – Geneva)
NeuroGI: application of diverse neurotechnology and neurobiology capabilities to develop a multimodal endoscope for clinical studies of the enteric nervous system
The Wyss Center has diverse and unique capabilities in neurotechnology covering mechanical, electrical and photonic engineering to design, manufacture and optimize new devices such as brain implants, brain-computer interfaces, innovative EEG electrodes, etc.
The Center also has a state-of-the-art light sheet imaging platform that integrates a suite of innovative fluorescence microscopy tools into a single pipeline to image whole organs with custom microscopes at high spatial and temporal resolution.
We have combined these complementary approaches in an innovative study of the enteric nervous system and to develop a multimodal endoscope for clinical applications.
